This was an amazing book that truly did justice to Creighton and Blake’s story. The life they lived in the foster system shaped who they were, and the twisted path they followed after growing up and moving to New York only made them stronger together. Their past adds depth to every moment and decision, making their journey feel raw and real. From the very beginning, the story pulls you in, and I couldn’t put the book down.
Creighton’s life hardened him in ways few could survive, but what he felt for Blake never wavered — there was absolutely nothing he wouldn’t do for her. Their connection is intense, emotional, and unforgettable, with a pull that keeps you invested until the very end. Tijan did a fantastic job bringing these characters to life, and I sincerely hope we get more of them.
