I was instantly pulled into Bella's story. Bella is sassy and has a mind of her own. She doesn't take commands easily and she will do what she feels should be done when needed.
In the mafia world, her father was the king and she was his princess. Although she did a lot of things that were wrong, in her fathers eyes, Bella was the angel that made him whole. When things changed in their lives he had to protect her from the life she didn't know and his way of doing that was Jax Moretti.
Jax was in a league of his own. He was also a crime boss. He was ruthless and sexy. He was a no nonsense type of man and he caught Bella's eye when she first looked at him. There was something about her and how they met that instantly made him crave her and the deal placed in front of him only made him want her even more.
Jax and Bella had a lot of overcome when things take a turn for the worse. Deals had to be made, decisions that would change both of their lives were instantaneously happening. Would Bella conform and be the person needed in order for them both to live?
There adventure doesn't end but you must read the first book and let me tell you it is nothing but goodness!!

So when we left Jax and Bella there were secrets being released in ways that were not expected. Jax and Bella are married and expecting good things for there family. Bella is still doing her thing...and this is what makes her a great person. She's not trying to be anyone other than who she is. To her the consequences of her actions mean nothing and she is willing to take whatever comes her way.
Bella has to step up to protect her family. The threat that everyone knew was near finally reared its ugly head and there was bloodshed. The ultimate sacrifices were made and Bella placed herself in harms way. She loved Jax and would do anything to protect him but she made things worse. The antatics that she once was able to do backfired and things took a turn for the worse. Will they be able to get away from the danger? Can Jax hold onto the things that he would turn the world upside down for?
I am so happy to read this story. It was the ending that I was not expecting but loved because of the love that was shared not only between Jax and Bella but also their friends and family.
