Review:
I must say I was really intrigued to read Verona Blood and I wasn't disappointed. First there is a great cliff hanger at the end that pulls you into the next story and making you want to wait to see what happens next.
Avery Capulet has somewhat of a great life but man does she have a bad life as well. Since we are not in the 1800's you would think you can live your life the way you want to. Date who you want. Do want you want because you are an adult and just live. She doesn't have that luxury and it sucks!!
Avery's life has been planned out and I'm not sure if it's bad or it's something that I could live with. The more I thought about it the more I said yes under the terms she was given I could live with it. Can she survive the situation she is now in? Will they break her?
Rome is somewhat of an outcast to his family and to the Capulet's after something happened that he was blamed for and took the punishment. He wants revenge in the worst way but things did not go as planned when both him and Avery are taken. Can he save the person that he once loved? Can he endure the pain that she will go through but save them both?
We get to know things that actually happened to them as children while trying to figure out who took them. I think I know but I can't be certain and I can't wait to read book two to try and figure it out!!
