I have always been such a huge fan of LJ Shen. No question she writes books that captivate, and break you just to pick you back up. Midnight Blue was everything I was hoping for and more. You guys, this book gave me ALLLLLL the feels.

Indigo Bellamy and Alex Winston were polar opposites from the time they met. The distaste for each other was apparent from their first hello. Each had their own reason for acting the way they were and doing what they were doing. Indie was tasked with the job of making sure sex symbol and rock and roll God, Alex didn't blow and drink his way to death. She was in all purposes his babysitter for his tour.

The tension between these two was so palpable on the pages of this book. I adored Indie from the very beginning. It was very hard not to like her. She had this personality that drew you to her. Her charm worked on Alex even though he tried to resist. Their chemistry was off the charts.

They also both held their demons and I think that is one of the things that drew these two together. Alex has angry and sad. Indie was sad and hurt and together they made the other forget about those feelings and fears. Together they made each other whole.

This book held my heart. I couldn't put it down. It was something beautiful and special throughout their story. It held the same LJ Shen flare with so much more!

Midnight Blue is one of my favorite rockstar stories I've read in a long time. I hope this isn't the end of Alex & his Stardust.
