Where do I begin with Xo, Zach! Well I love Zach. His kind heart and love for Poppy and her son is what we all want but there is something that could hurt both of them!! He's her adviser and should only focus on school and nothing more but why would you deny passion and love?
Poppy is a single mom who wants a better life for her son. Poetry and writing is the one thing that she knows will show her son that although they don't have much, he can make it and she did. She wants him to be more than what she ever could be and better than what she is but little things seem to continue to bring her down. Poppy is so strong and determined to me more, she doesn't want anything to break what she is building so her walls are up and they are stronger than ever.
Zach and Poppy have this push and pull relationship that seems to go on forever and I hated that. One minute she wants him and lets him do amazing things and the next, she doesn't want to look at him. The push and pull would be a turnoff but for Zach it was a challenge that he knew he would not lose...or would he?
