Synopsis
Lucian and Lia attempt to deal with the aftermath of the violent attack on her by her stepfather. As events unfold in their lives, Lia finds that she can no longer be patient with the man that she loves, because his secrets are tearing them apart.
Lucian cannot deny the fact that he's fallen in love with the brave and beautiful woman who has lived a life of horror. He wants nothing more than to protect her, but soon realizes that he may be the person who will hurt her the most.
To be together, they'll have to fight demons from their pasts that threaten to tear them apart.

**Book 2 of the Lucian & Lia Trilogy.**
Review:
I have never had a book make me read it twice, in the same night, just to hold onto the characters a little while longer. Lucian and Lia has had trouble in book one but nothing compares to the rollercoaster ride they will be on in book two.
Lucian has dealt with the possible loss of Lia and he's not coping well. I think he needs her more than he can ever imagine and it's not just him. All of his friends and family adore her. She is the bright star that he has wished for his entire life.
Lucian's role now is just not boyfriend but he is also the "counselor", the best friend, the warden and and so many other roles. The question now is how long will this last and is he up for the battle?
Lia is by far by favorite of the characters. She's a force to be reckoned with. She has many struggles but she is so fierce, nothing can and will hold her down. Lia has a some more struggles that she will face and I think there are 2 major ones but I could be wrong, since I have been before :)
I loved this book and as I stated earlier read it twice. I love the characters and the interaction between them and their friends. The story is progressing perfectly and just an FYI, there is a cliffy at the end but it is so worth the wait for Mended.
