Adam Trent is a alpha male beyond alpha males. He wants what he wants when he wants it and takes no type of crap from anyone, including the TV crew that he signed with for a reality show. When he meets Erin it is not under the circumstances that he would like but he knows that he likes her when he sees her and feels not only an instant attraction but he also feels the need to protect her at all costs.
Erin is a doctor who loves to make sure people are OK. She has a motherly instinct that is far deeper than anyone would expect. There are demons in the past that make her wonder if this life is meant for her and all the things she can do to make it better. Erin has experienced something in her life that has changed her and also has made her scared of the little things; love, trust, children, all of the happily ever-after.
I loved the interaction between Adam and Erin. Erin was laid back but if you push her, she will push back. She's a little alpha diva and she will not let you ruin her family, friends or the ones she loves if she things you'll hurt them. She's smart and doesn't bend easy. She will run when she needs to but it is only to protect her heart and make sure if doesn't shatter again. She lets Adam in but pulls back and constantly does it. Erin is the type of woman who will not tolerate lying to her and if that means she has to take you our of her life, so be it.
Adam has gone through some things that makes him shelter himself from women. He was hurt in a major way and tends to fall back on that and put that into the blooming relationship that him and Erin have. When you put a alpha male and mini diva alpha together, it is explosive.
Tina has delivered in Jacked and I can't wait for Adam's brother Jason's book, Amped. if he is anything like Adam, it's going to be on fire!!!
