OMG! Have you freaking met Dane Kendrick?! If you haven't pick up Emerge by S.E. Hall, I don't know what the hell you're waiting for!!

S.E. Hall did an AMAZING job on Emerge. When you look at love triangles you always think there going to be the same, best friend likes girl and girl can’t decide between friends who she likes better. OK, so not like that.Laney and Evan are best friends who have that friend connection but Evan sees her differently as times goes on. He begins to have more than friendship feelings but never crosses the line. Once they graduate things seems to start turning toward a relationship but since they are going to different colleges that both want to take time away from the relationship that has grown. Both agree that if it was meant to happen, fate would bring them back together.
They’re leading two separate lives, Evan and his college friends are partying but Laney is being a little antisocial until her roomie, Bennett, gets her to be a college kid and have fun. She meets DANE..(and yes all caps)…
Dane and his friends become more than just friends to Laney, they are a semi family and her life support in a sense. She is having problems figuring out who she wants and who her safety net is. Does she keep her promise and wait for Evan or does she follow her heart and go with Dane? They learn a lot about each other it builds the love that they have for each other. It takes Laney a while to go with her feelings and seek out the man who will ROCK.HER.WORLD. Once she does, she sees things that she has never seen but through it all she is still protective of Evans heart, or at least she tries to be. Oh, did I mention that her BFF is jealous of her relationship with Evan as well has her skills on the field playing softball? Well that’s a story in itself but she brings the drama.
I’m not going to give any more away because I can talk about this book for days.
I give this *****5***** Stars. I can’t wait for book 2 to come out and don’t let me start talking about book 3. You really can’t get enough of DANE (yes, all caps again)!!!
