REVIEW
Penelope Ward has done it again with Sig and Abby's story. Sig lost his wife years ago and was lost. He lost the love of his life and knew there was no one for him. Sig wanted to move on with life as best as her could which means keeping everyone at a distance. To Sig, it is much easier for his sanity to continue to live the life he lives until his in-laws throw a "monkey wrench" into his world.
Abby is the kindest person anyone knows. She is selfless and chooses to help Sig in a situation that he just wasn't preparing himself for. When meeting Sig, he wasn't pleasant and she would tell how sad he was. He didn't seem to have any cares and they clashed. Abby needed to be the sun in Sig's darkness but it took time. Abby was the best thing since he lost his wife but would he know it? Can they get past Sig and bring him back to the person he was. This story was a very emotional story with lots of twists and turns. I absolutely loved this story!
