Synopsis:
Callum Derringer was hired by the Pittsburgh Titans to help rebuild the organization after a devastating plane crash left its future unknown. Now that he’s got the team back on track, it’s time to put some effort into his own life.
When I accepted the job of general manager with the Titans, it was just the opportunity I needed to prove myself to the sports world. Unfortunately, my career isn’t the only area in which I’ve previously made mistakes and the past is about to come back in a big way.
Juniper Ryan is…complicated. Smart, funny and insanely gorgeous, she was my first love and my first heartbreak. But my loss was my stepbrother’s gain and she’s been his wife for five years now. Review:
Callum and Juniper's story was so touching! Callum not only was a hero to his team but a hero to Juniper and his mother in a way he just couldn't understand based on his past. Callum went back to see his mother who was hospitalized and came across his one true love, who he destroyed when he left.
Juniper's life as a young adult was great until it wasn't. Juniper's heart was shattered and Callums step brother slowly slid into her heart after she Callun broke her heart. Life wasn't how the books described it and Juniper was in for a rude awakening once she truly opened her eyes to the horror of a narcissist.
Callum was the best person to handle all the evils of the world and turn Junipers world around several times. The love he had for her overpowered all the darkness she endured over the years and proved that if it is meant to be, it will be. Can their love endure the pressures they will face? Can Callum keep his cool for his team, Juniper and his mother? Sawyer Bennett wowed us once again!!
