To be the first book read to a new to me author I must say I can't wait to read more!
Teagan was forces to marry Christiano, the assassin in the Syndicate. This marriage was not ideal for either but Christiano is loyal to his family so he did what was best. This marriage was going to be bad from the beginning. They didn't trust each other and each wanted to be the "boss".
The transformation of each of them becoming their own and becoming one was great to see! But the back and forth conversations between them made the book even better, both strong-willed and not willing to back down.
This story takes you on many adventures but also allows you to watch the growth of two people who were destined to be together.
