Penelope Ward continues to surprise me with nonstop reads. I read The Crush in one night and wanted more! Childhood crushes on sibling best friends are common but there was something more to Farrah an Jace's story.
Farrah's crush was young at heart. She saw this amazing friend of her brother who captured her eyes but there was something about him that didn't change the way she felt. Farrah's crush lasted for years. Penelope Ward was able to pull you into the heart of a young person and take the plunge and feel what she felt. Farrah has the drive and determination to get any and everything she wants!
