Review:

There are things in life that will destroy you or make you better, no matter the circumstances. I have only read a few books by Author A. Zavarelli and I have been cheated from an author who pulled me in immediately. Pretty When She Cries was 35 chapters of hurt, lust, confusion, passion and real love.

Landon and Kailani has a story that rips you apart. The attraction between the two of them is off the charts with all the feels. There were times that i screamed at them and wanted to sit them down and counsel them but then there were times that I wanted to be their friend and tough it out with them. There were so many misunderstanding and missteps, you often wondered...WHAT IF!!

Landon is the rick prick. I mean how many problems can he possibly have? Why is he somewhat dark? Will Kailani be able to get away with her vengeance? Is it worth it?

This story is a page turner and a book that you will reread! I am glad I have came upon A. Zavarelli . She is a fabulous author and I can't wait to read more of her work!

This is the first time I have read an A. Zavarelli book but you can be dang sure it won't be the last time!

I didn't know what I expected when I went into this story with Landon and Kailani but what I got, I didn't expect at all. I didn't expect to fall for Landon the way I did. He had this sad and mysterious air about him from the very first pages of the book.

Kail was a great heroine as well. She was strong, feisty and fought fire with fire. I do think she learned a lot about herself in Pretty When She Cries.

Some hard lessons about life, love and devastation were taught on the pages of this book. I couldn't decide who I wanted to be the bad guy in this story, I knew Audrey had to be one of them but some of the twists and turns of this book, I was not expecting at all.

This may have been my first book by A. Zavarelli, but it for sure won't be my last. I love me a good enemies to lovers or bully romance and this delivered on both accounts.
