Review:
Author M. Robinson gave us Martinez and to say he was lovable and dark was an understatement but Cruz is not at the top of my list.
Alpha, spoiled, naïve and so many other words describes Cruz but a chip off the old block gives you a preview of who he is. Can he live up to the name El Diablo? Is he worthy of the person his father was/is?
Cruz is placed in a bad situation when he looks away for mere seconds. The tables turn on the Martinez family in a way that catches everyone off guard but tests Cruz. When Sienna walks into his life it is by fate. She is the princess of the mafia world, a world she hates with every breath in her body.
Sienna is unlike most. She wants her life to be different from the world she grew up in. She wanted more but the push and pull she is now in affects everything in her world, including the life she could have with Cruz. The push and pull between the two of them is amazing. The desire and respect Cruz has for her brings all types of things to her mind and makes you think how much of his dad is Cruz made of.
This story is on the top of my 2020 list and a must read!
