Review
Penelope Ward has done it again! This story gives all the feels a person can handle and more. The first meet and greet between Deacon and Carys was something to remember. I mean who would meet under those circumstances?
Carys life wasn't easy. Her mother wasn't one that wanted to be there for her child. She was a mother that put herself before her child. There were good and bad times with her but not at all what someone would want. Carys dreams were taken away in the worst way but she was a fighter and life took her on a journey that only the strong could handle.
Deacon was somewhat of a playboy. His life was good but that one meeting made things look different. There was something about Carys that made him want something he thought wasn't meant to be. He wanted that one person who would make an impact on his life but he didn't know if he was worthy. Carys and her daughter changed him in the best way.
The love triangle of these two made you upset, sad and cheerful that things would turn out the way you want them to. The life stories of each pulled at your heart and made you cheer for them both. The lives they lived separately was great but the bond they had together was perfect. There was equal admiration shown from both ends and it only made the story more perfect!!
