This is the first book in the series and I will now go back and read all the others!
This story is about Dominik, aka Dom. Dom is in the Bravta and meets Lara who he falls in love with. He is fiercely protective of her and others. Love comes in all forms with different people, the police commissioner's daughter.
Lara has a past. There are things that she is keeping a secret but Dom has a way to finding things out. Her life was not always easy but hard. Trusting someone was not on the list of things to do for her but Dom has something in him that she needed from others.
This story is steamy and has a slow burn. There were moments that kept you on your toes wondering what will happen next, wondering will this really happen and wondering why things were happening and didn't happen.
I am equally excited to start this series from the beginning! It is well worth the time to read it!
