I didn't know what to expect while listening to Alex and Mallory's story once I began I could not stop reading. This book gave you all the angst, steamy romance and guessing that you could handle.
I loved Mallory. Some would think she was fragile and obsessed with her life but she was so much more than that. Her mission was clear and her job not only helped her get what she needed but also made her stronger in her personal and family life. She was hard working, strong willed and determined. As a child her sister was kidnapped in front of her eyes. She vowed to find out who did it and would stop at nothing.
Alex is a mystery. His job is that of the government but also he's a rogue. He is good at what he does and makes no mistakes. When he meets Mallory it's different for him. He sees something that he hasn't in a while and he wants it. He also knows that once she find out who he really is things will change. They will also change when she finds out who he works for.
This story leaves you asking questions and wanting the answers immediately. You want to know the who, what, when and where's throughout the entire story. This is a must read and a must listen to. Eric Dove did a fantastic job narrating the story!!
