Review:
There are authors who you love because of who the person is and then you have authors who write books that you never know what the story will be but you know you will purchase it because, well you'd be crazy not to buy them. Then you have Meghan March. There is something about her that give you everything. Meghan knocked me on the rear with the follow up of The Fall of Legend and let's just say I am NOT patiently waiting for book 3, The Fight for Forever.
Legend let the best thing walk away from him but knowing what would take them down, made him stop what he knew could sooth his soul. Scarlett was the one thing he never thought he could or should have but couldn't let her go. His life was crap and pulling her into that crap would make her dirty but he would keep her clean. He would do whatever it took to keep her clean!
Scarlett worked hard for everything she got. Some thought she was just rich and got everything without lifting a finger but little did they know! Scarlett's family life was not what any little girl would want. She wanted her mother back and she wanted her father to care about her. Something happened to her and during that time, her real family, her friends and Legend took care of her.
This story took her through some tough times for Scarlett and an even tougher time when things took a turn for the worst, after things got so much better for both of them.
I can't say enough about this story without giving it away. The love. lust and genuine care that both Legend and Scarlett shows is perfect for them. The genuine love Scarlett has not only for Legend but his friends as well shows the type of person Scarlett is. I can't wait to see how this wonderful story ends!
