Hands down, BEST BOOK I'VE READ ALL YEAR! Broken Knight absolutely captivated me and stole my heart. It was so good, oh my goodness. And LJ Shen showed why she is my favorite writer. There is nothing she has wrote that hasn't completely consumed me.
Knight was broken you guys, so incredibly broken. He had a heart of gold and an armor of steel but under it all, he ached. I adored the character of Knight. He was so complex and unique and I just felt for him. He hurt I hurt, he loved I loved. He was something else that I didn't know I needed.
And Luna. She was mystifying. I couldn't figure her out either but Knight truly was a part of Luna's soul.
There two together created and gave us a story so beautiful and empowering. I cried. I laughed. I couldn't get enough.
If you've been living under a rock and haven't read anything by LJ Shen, trust me you need to make it a priority. I think she may have taken my favorite author spot and that's saying so much!
