Sheraka's 5 Star Review:
This was another favorite story by Vi Keeland and Penelope
Ward. In the second book we really got
to know a little more about the characters.
We were on a roller coaster and didn’t know how things were doing to
turn out from loss to love, from beginnings to end, from this and that…it was
just perfect!!
Gia is lost. She doesn't know what to do with the current situation she's in but she only makes it worse for both her and Rush. Rush can feel a change and he knows something is off but just can't pinpoint it.
Rush and Gia are tested in many different ways but keeping the truth from each other only hurts the people you want the most in your life. When the truth come out, your heart will break!! What will the outcome be? Will Rush and Gia's love overcome many obstacles that will arise? Will we see a different side to Elliott and Edward when they have to deal with the issue at hand?
I could not put the book down!! I wanted...no I needed to know what would happen and the outcome!! Vi and Penelope did not disappoint but do they ever!!
--Jess' Five Star Review--
First off, guys I've got a #RushCrush! This is the second book in the Rush Duet by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward and it was just as magnetically charged as the first book in the duet. These authors just don't disappoint.
The story picks up exactly where the first left off. Our heroine finds herself in quite the pickle. Gia has to make the decision to tell Rush something that has the power to break them. This part was very climatic. There was the will she or won't she tell Rush.
This book was definitely more about if the pieces of their lives would fit together for them to be together even with Gia's big announcement. Rush loved and cared for Gia so deeply. I felt that in my being and on the pages of this book.
You have to pick up this duet by Vi and Penelope. They do not disappoint yet again. I couldn't put this book down. I devoured it even quicker then the first one. It's a page turner for sure! I can't wait to see what this dynamic duo brings us next. Trust me, you guys really want a Rush Crush.
How to kick off a great summer in the Hamptons:
Snag a gorgeous rental on the beach. Check.
Get a job at a trendy summer haunt. Check.
How to screw up a great summer in the Hamptons:
Fall for the one guy with a dark leather jacket, scruff on his face, and intense eyes that doesn’t fit in with the rest of the tony looking crowd. A guy you can’t have when you’ll be leaving at the end of the season.
Check. Check. Check.
I should add—especially when the guy is your sexy, tattooed God of a boss.
Especially when he not only owns your place of employment but inherited half of the town.
Especially when he’s mean to you.
Or so I thought.
Until one night when he demanded I get in his car so he could drive me home because he didn’t want me walking in the dark.
That was sort of how it all started with Rush.
And then little by little, some of the walls of this hardass man started to come down.
I never expected that the two of us, seemingly opposites from the outside, would grow so close.
I wasn't supposed to fall for the rebel heir, especially when he made it clear he didn’t want to cross the line with me.
As the temperature turned cooler, the nights became hotter. My summer became a lot more interesting—and complicated.
All good things must come to an end, right?
Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming.
