A chance mishap with a sledgehammer was the sole reason a chilling nightmare was unleashed in Blyth Lake.
Noah Kendall’s grisly discovery left him in the middle of a murder investigation and a neighbor who knew more than she was willing to say. Reese Woodward had returned to town with dark secrets, and he was determined to unravel them. While evil lurks in the darkness, seduction burns between them…only time was their enemy.
Will her secrets destroy what they’ve built, or can he earn her trust before the killer strikes again?
Review:
The suspense in Unlocking Fear was intense and this book was amazing. Blyth Lake holds many secrets and trying to get everyone to release them is a battle but Reese will do it. She strong, tenacious, and bill headed. When she starts to investigate her cousins disappearance, things start to come and she knows there is something weird lurking around her so she will not find out.
Noah's town is changing daily and things keep bumping in the night but once he comes back from duty, he knows something is wrong. Too many things keep popping up...to many coincidences, to many abnormal things for this small town where everyone knows everyone and all their secrets.
Kennedy Layne did an excellent job keeping me on my toes and continuing to ask who did it!! Just when I thought I knew, something else comes along and nope...that person did not commit all of these crimes. I am biting my nails for the next book in the Keys to Love series!!
