Review:

Brinkley was a girl who didn’t have it all. She didn’t grow up with things handed to her and her mother worked hard until that moment.  The moment when she met someone and it changed their lives but was it for the better?

Brinkley had to become one of the “it” girls.  She had to be somewhat of a snob and she played the role for a very long time but she always had that feeling that she would never be like them and she needed to be her.  Dane was that person who wanted her to be her and he didn’t want anything else.  He didn’t grow up on the “right” side of the tracks but life has a way of taking its time with you.

Brinkley’s fire only grew fierce when Celina needed it and she has been fierce since.  The cute banter between mother and daughter was so cute and it made me laugh even through everything each of them had to go through.  The love between not only mothers and daughters but true love is always a plus but there was something that pulls at your heart and Michelle knows exactly how to do it.

The long lost love between Brinkley and Dane was felt throughout the book.  It was a love that started at a young age and grew for over 10 years and the love only continued to grow.
