Kylie Scott has once again knocked it out of the park with her sexy, delicious men. Joe was just what I was looking for. I mean hello look at that cover. Twist was a charming and funny love story about finding love in the weirdest places.
Alex showed up at their Dive Bar just to meet the sexy man she met online and developed a connection with. Little does she know the man she has been chatting with is not the man she has been looking at on his profile picture.
I loved the dynamic in this book. Joe was so sweet, caring and had a heart of gold. He wasn't willing to let Alex go without a fight. He wants to make right the mistake he made by lying to Alex. Joe definitely had his demons. As did Alex. But I think that's what made these two so special for me.
I love that the characters have flaws. I love their heart and determination but most of all I love that throughout it all they give everything their 100%. Whether it's renovating a space like Joe did, convincing Alex she belongs there, or making those tasty drinks behind the bar. Twist held it all.
I can't wait for Chaser. To get to know the yummy Eric Collins. If he's anything like his brother, I know I'll fall instantly in love.
