Mack Daddy by Penelope Ward was everything I was looking for and so much more.  Mack Morrison had his eyes set on Frankie from the start. They had a history so when his son ended up on Frankie's classroom, it wasn't by peer chance.

Frankie was fiery and sweet all at the same time. I fell in love with her. She took on this roll for Mack's son too. Went above and beyond. You could really see the kind of person and character Frankie was with her interactions with Jonah.

Frankie was determined to keep Mack at a distance, to not let all her old feelings come back but Mack proved that hard for Frankie because once you go Mack you don't go back.

This truly was a heart warming second chance love story. Penelope Ward gave us all the feels from the start. You could feel the tension, the beauty and most of all the love and passion. Mack made it very hard for you not to fall in love with him. He made this story. He showed you what real love was. This story had so much heart to it.

If you pick up a book anytime soon that you want to feel all the emotions, let it be this one. Penelope Ward has yet to disappoint.
