OH MY GOODNESS. The feels. The feels, they are so real. So VERY real in Moonshot by Alessandra Torre.
I fell in love with Moonshot from the first pages. First can I just say how much I LOVE Tyler's name. It fits her so much. She is such a strong and determined, slightly sarcastic girl who has dedicated her whole life to the game, baseball. Ty has such a fierce passion for everything for the game, from the mound the pitcher stands on, to the errors in each game, to the relationship she has with the players. This girl lives and breaths for those moments on the field, where everything makes sense.
This isn't a conventional love story to me by any means but that doesn't make it any less beautiful. Alesandra Torre stripped everything bare in this book. My heart. It ached, physically ached for Ty. And don't even get me started on our sexy leading male, Mr. Chase Stern. Oh my goodness you guys. That man just radiated pure sex appeal. I wanted to just lick him. He was everything you expected a cocky baseball player to be, but that wasn't the real him.
Ty managed to find that real him and their relationship became so intense. So gut wrenching. So beautiful that I couldn't see this ending any other way then with a happily ever after for them. They deserved it. Alas, not everything is as it seems. And then cue the plot twists.
You don't want to miss out on this book you guys! Alessandra Torre told such a beautiful first time, true love story. You will smile, you will laugh, cry, LOVE, throughout the pages of Moonshot. This gorgeous story is a force to be reckoned with. I swear this was one of my favorite reads of the year. I couldn't get enough Ty and Chase. One way to describe a Moonshot, EPIC, and this book showed just that.
