Courtney Cole has boggled my mind once again. Holy guacamole batman. Lux is the third and final book in the Nocte Trilogy.
This book is just as twisted and as dark as the two previous novels and novella before it. Calla is still our staring girl. She has so much that she can't distinguish as real or fake and that is one of the aspects that make this book just as good as the previous ones in the series.
It's so hard to write a review about this book without giving too much away. It's hard to even describe this book because revealing just the tiniest thing could be revealing so much. I will say this, you may be happy or unhappy with this ending, depending on what you believe as happily ever after, but this was honestly one of my favorite things of the book.
Courtney Cole managed to keep up all on our toes. She showed us exactly what it takes to build up a great story and an even better Trilogy. I loved Dare and I loved Calla... To end I'll leave you with some of the questions I know I had going into this book.
Is it kismet?
Is Dare real?
Is Finn alive?
And is Calla imagining it all or is this all her new reality?
Well done again Courtney Cole. This is surely a series to be read over and over again!
