Review:

I was so excited about this story!! We are finally able to get into Kace and see what makes him tick and what happened in his life to put in on the road that he is currently on.

At a pivotal point in his life Kace was dealing with the loss of something detrimental to him and at that time one error cost him everything, including his sanity. Kace has been beating himself of for multiple things and it is heartbreaking. I feel Kace never forgave himself for allowing someone in his life, that ultimately destroyed him and changed the way he saw people and the other was letting someone get the best of him.

I really enjoyed going back and forth in time realizing this is why this happened and sad that it happened to him, this man who was strong for everyone and always did the right thing to make sure others were okay. He carried the weight of the world on his shoulders and never let go, even when Jett preferred to take it from him!!

Lyla was dealing with things of her own and the two of them just bettered each other. I loved how she didn't take anything from Kace and gave him some of his own medicine. She knew what she wanted and she went after it!!

Meghan has given us another great read and I'm so excited that I was able to finally get to know Kace. Tears were shed during this book but it is a must read!!
