Synopsis:
Her mother is seriously ill. Her job is tiring and stressful.

Miles is a long time friend who has some sort of connection with Kelly but their lives are so different, it seems to good to be true when she becomes closer to him that even she expected.
Kelly has taken on a new role in her life and decided that her out would be a BDSM club named Club Phoenix. Kelly is able to become someone else and let out all of her frustrations or at least try to. Kelly is so lost the need to feel pain is more than just for pleasure, it has turned into the need to lose herself and life.
Miles and Kelly has an interesting relationship and throughout the book, I wondered why Miles wasn't more of her lifeline.
This book will have you second guess yourself and it is most definitely a dark read.
