Release Date: November 16, 2014
After the last fourteen years of surviving as a walking, talking, living doll, Laura feels dead inside.
She has sacrificed everything for her family, marrying a man she could never love. Her husband doesn’t beat her, doesn’t berate her. He transforms her, forcing her to live as a stand-in for his long dead wife. She stays silent as piece after piece of herself disappears, willing to do anything to protect the people she loves.
When his demands go too far, she finally tells her brother the ugly truth.
Wanting to protect her without putting the rest of their family at risk, he sends her to the one place he knows she’ll be safe. He places her into the hands of his best friend, Vice President of the Savage Outlaws MC.
Once again, she is transformed into someone new; Shay.
Bowie has spent many nights dreaming about his best friend’s little sister. The reality is so much sweeter than his dreams. He wants to be more for Shay, needs to protect her, but he’s not sure if he knows how.
Can an Outlaw show her how beautiful life should be?
Review:
Once I started reading Beautiful Outlaw, I couldn't put it down. There were so many alpha males in this story and I loved each and everyone of them.
Laura (Shay) was the model child and her parents had no idea the things that she did to make sure they were taken care of by her husband. During all of the things that she did, changing who she was had to be the most dramatic of all.
Bowie was the best brother, son, leader and friend anyone could have. He stepped up when he was needed and took on things that had nothing to do with him or his MC. Meeting Laura was the best thing that could have happened to him but he had an upcoming battle that he never saw coming.
Laura was a strong person but she was beat down so much, she lost who she was and lost her family that meant everything to her. In order for them to be happy, she had to be sad and I feel that was the hardest part of living day to day. She became a shell of the person who she really was and became a person her husband wanted her to be...his dead wife!!
There are so many turns in the book just when you think you have it down, something else takes place and you think she going back. I can't wait to read the next book because at the end, a question was answered and now I really need to know why and the answer that i'm sure everyone else is looking for.
