Rellik=Killer

Killer=Rellik

Rellik Bentley was a man of darkness and mystery and Teresa Mummert did an awesome job of telling his story. Rellik has secrets, no one knows about because Rellik Bentley really doesn't exist. He is the cover for a man he wishes he could forget.

Rellik is every girls dream. He's part of a band. He's dark, mysterious, and sexy. And he's a bad boy. What more could a woman want. But Rellik has a dark past that he doesn't want anyone to know about.

The only person who could understand any of the pain and darkness he is feeling would be Ella. Because Ella has that same darkness and pain inside of her. But Ella is also the trigger Rellik has been trying to stay away from. The pain and darkness between the two of them makes their chemistry combustible.

I loved the idea of this story line. I don't want to give too much away because I feel the dynamic of this story is what made this story what it was, FANTASTIC.

The wait for Rellik was well worth it. Like all Teresa Mummert books, her characters were complex and different. They all had their own secrets, that makes these characters dimensional. I loved that there was more to Rellik and who he was than originally met the eye. I loved that Ella fit with him so well.

Tragedy was definitely a main point in this story and Teresa Mummert did a fabulous job on the lead up to what could have gone so wrong in Rellik's life for him to become the way he did. Rellik has so much tragedy in his life that he blames himself for, from losing his dad to losing the one thing he thought he would have forever.

Ella was broken. There is no other way to describe her. But even with all that was against her, I loved that she was strong, she didn't break. I loved that she stood for what she believed in.

Teresa Mummert has a writing style that isn't afraid to touch on tough topics and it makes it one of my favorites to read, because I honestly don't know what to expect from her. But she also just tells such a great story. I look forward to more from the men in this book, especially Phantom. But mostly I look forward to another story from this stellar author!

4.5 STARS FOR RELLIK!
