I don't know about you but me, god I love a good biker romance. It gets my soul pumping, my adrenaline running and my heart pounding. Its the dirty rawness of it all but I love it. And the way a biker loves, it's fierce. Nobody writes biker like Bella Jewel. Not in the way she can captivate you from the first little bit.
I devoured, and when I say devoured, I literally mean it, Melancholy. It was fantastic. I sat down at 7 pm the night I got the ARC and I literally didn't put it down until 2 am. I just couldn't stop and let me tell you I am paying for it today. I think I've drank about 10 cups of coffee and I am still in the slump.... But damn all I need to do is think about Maddox, and I know it was so so worth it.
Melancholy follows the sexy, gruff president of the Joker's Wrath Motorcycle Club. He's strong, he's sexy and damn is the man just freaking appealing. He has been in love with Santana secretly for god only knows how long. She loves him too but is too stubborn and hard headed to admit it. The back and forth with these characters was probably one of my favorite aspects of this book. She'd say yes, he'd say no. He'd call her a brat, she'd call him a biker! It was awesome. It made me laugh even a few times. They just had such a magnetic chemistry about that that I just wanted to keep reading and getting more. And their sexual chemistry, holy hell. Maddox was sex on a stick. He gave just as hard sexually to Santana as he did emotionally.. and damn did he give it to her in some good spots... think bike.. think bike.
Maddox is always only looking out for the best for Santana and no matter his methods or his actions, he truly does just want what's best for her. I felt like that they just had such an ever lasting love. Santana was not a girl to take any shit. She was ready for what came next always rolling with the punches. She was strong and independent and she loved Maddox and craved Maddox just as desperately as he did her. Their chemistry seriously for me was just off the charts!
Bella Jewel writes so raw... So steamy and with so much passion that the pages of her books are filled with a longing for the next story. I am like an addict waiting for her next MC hit, is how it feels when I am reading a new Bella Jewel book. And I am not saying that negatively at all. I literally can't wait. She had me wanting more before I even started Melancholy. I literally am now again waiting for more from one of my favorite MC authors and the sexy men and their old ladies of the Joker's Wrath MC.

Bella Jewel is an Aussie girl through and through. She spent her life in Western Australia, growing up in many different areas of the state.
