Synopsis:

What happens when you discover the guy you’ve been seeing is a rock star? Well that's what happened to Lacey when she met Cole; now she’s forgiven him she's agreed to go on tour with his band. On tour she has to cope with Cole's fame, his skanky groupies and getting to know the rest of the band. Roxie, on the other hand, has a totally different dilemma. Not only is she quickly finding out her feelings for Lacey are a lot stronger than she thought, but she has to watch her with Cole. She’s also falling for Cole's brother, Mason, but how can she love two people? Unable to cope with everything she seeks solace in drinking; leading to some huge mistakes that she may not be forgiven for.

Review:

What happens when the world that you thought you knew simply isn't that? Well Lacey's world was turned upside down and she had no idea how much it was. There were so many things missing in her life but the one person that she treasured more than anything couldn't tell her the truth. Once learning, she faced all problems like a champ but she was still blind to something important that would not only affect her life but those around her and those who love her as well.

Cole is the huge star who really doesn't act as such. He knows where he came from and he doesn't try to change for anyone. He loves Lacey with everything in him and is not afraid to show it. He wants her to know that he's in for the long haul and he wants her in his life. She is home to him and the faster she figures it out, the quicker things will settle down and the test that they have to go through will cease.

What I loved about the book so much is the realism and how the characters interact. The bond that the best friends share is something special but there's more to it.  There's a battle that one faces that the other doesn't know but when she does find out, she steps up and the entire "family" steps up. The band is huge family that make fun of each other but protects each other with everything they have.  The more they hang around each other, the more the bond.  I love that the book wasn't just about Lacey and Cole but about the entire band and the family that they have quickly become.
