In the latest installment from Tara Sivec's Fool Me Once Series, Shame On Me explores the crazy antics and love life of Paige McCarty, ex supermodel extraordinaire. This series is fabulous. A lot of comedy with a little LOVE!
I was given the privelage to read one of the very rare arcs, and again Tara Sivec did not disappoint. She gave my the laughs I was expecting and some sexy steamy love scenes between our heroine Paige and the man she shouldn't want, the nerdy but HOT Matt!
Paige goes on out a limb trying to prove she too can be a Private Investigator like her best friends Kennedy & Lorelai and not just the pretty face behind the desk, when she meets Mr. Cheater McCheaterson, Matt. Matt is everything Paige knows she doesn't want and everything she should hate... He even reminds her of her ex Andy, which is NOT a good thing.. Andy is scum, by the way.
When Paige learns that Matt may not be the bad guy she thought he was, their worlds collide and the chemistry and passion is explosive. I loved the writing again from this amazing author. She gave us a beautiful heroine who didn't just have a pretty face but a great heart. She gave us an amazing hero in Matt and she gave us the laughter we crave in her books.
This series is fabulous. The books captivate, and the author just has a way with words that has you entranced from the beginning.
I read this awesome book in one sitting, AGAIN. This is becoming a repeat offense with me when I pick up a Tara Sivec book. She is quickly securing her spot as one of my all time favorite authors... This is a short sweet series I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fab read with a lot of heart.
Only thing I wish, there was more to the story because I was just craving more from the hysterical ladies of Fool Me Once Investigations.
