Review/Giveaway---Capturing Peace by Molly McAdams

Synopsis:

Coen Steele has spent the last five years serving his country. Now that he's back, he's finally ready to leave behind the chaos of the battlefield and pursue his lifelong dream. What he wasn't expecting was the feisty sister of one of his battle buddies—who has made it obvious that she wants nothing to do with him—to intrigue him in a way no woman has before.

Reagan Hudson's life changed in the blink of an eye six years ago when she found out she was pregnant and on her own. Since then, Reagan has vowed never to let another man into her life so that no one can walk out on her, or her son, again. But the more she runs into her brother's hot and mysterious friend, the more he sparks something in her that she promised herself she wouldn't feel again.

Can two people with everything to lose allow themselves to finally capture the love they both deserve?

Review:

Oh man Molly McAdams, what have you done to me again?

Another one hit out of the park.

I did the big old blubbery cry. I did the horrible cry, one I haven't done since Taking Chances, and losing my boy Chase. Ugh, still makes me sick. (which if you haven't read Taking Chances yet, you are severely missing out!!)

I wasn't even really sure what to expect when I cracked open Capturing Peace, I was just beyond excited to read a story by Molly McAdams again who has yet to disappoint me. And let me just tell you, Capturing Peace did not disappoint. Not at all.

Coen Steele was perfect. Like holy cheese on a cracker batman, swoon worthy. I fell immediately in love! Hard. Coen is not typically the kind of guy I would fall for physically but everything else about him is exactly what I was looking for. The way Molly described Coen though, let me just tell you it was 100% love at first sight. Coen definitely has his demons. He has been fighting them for some time now, and he hasn't been able to find any peace from them to relax, to sleep, or just be even get a glimpse of the Coen he was before his demons awoken.

We meet our fabulous heroine Reagan from the get go. I loved her from the very first words too. She was strong, loyal and unequivocally fierce. She took protecting to a whole new level. But I am sure that is how someone would get becoming a mom at sixteen and having the one person you thought would be there for you through it all, just completely abandon you. Reagan had the love of her family, and she had the love of her son Parker, but she swore never to let a man in to detroy her and Parker's happiness ever again.......

.....until Coen Steele.

They had such a beautiful love story. It was messy, boy was it messy. They fought more than they talked but I just completely fell in love.. You fall head over heels in love with these characters because the story being told is so very real.

We get glimpse of Brody Saco who we will meet in Sharing You and let me say, he was part of my blubbering mess cry. He kind of broke me already in this book, I am completely excited and scared to see how he is going to make me feel in Sharing You.

I would absolutely 100% give Capturing Peace a 5 STAR rating. Molly McAdams still holds the spot of being one of my favorite authors of all time. Easily, hands down. Sigh.... love.

About Molly:
Molly grew up in California but now lives in the oh-so-amazing state of Texas with her husband and furry four-legged daughters. When she's not diving into the world of her characters, some of her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and long walks on the beach … which roughly translates to being a homebody with her hubby and dishing out movie quotes. She has a weakness for crude-humored movies, fried pickles and loves curling up in a fluffy comforter during a thunderstorm ... or under one in a bathtub if there are tornados. That way she can pretend they aren't really happening.
