Oh my goodness. Tara Sivec and her hilarious books have done it again!
I loved Passions & Ponies. Too funny. The book had me laughing the whole time I was reading, and let me tell you I started this baby and read right through until 2 am in the morning. AND I was still laughing while my hubby said will you quit that? and I just rolled over and said what it's funny!
Passions & Ponies had so much comedy & such a sweet unconventional love story in it, it was hard not to call in love with the second book in the awesome series. Tara Sivec has such a knack for making you laugh, cry from laughing, and love all the characters in her story in the amount of time it takes you to read one of her amazing stories.
Passions & Ponies reintroduces us to Ava & Tyler. Ava is the bitchy sister of Charlotte who we meet in the first book and the daughter of the makers of Seductions & Snacks. Tyler is the best friend of Gavin. Tyler and Ava hate each other, and trust me that's a big understatement. One problem with them hating each other, they are sleeping together. Something that was supposed to be a one time thing turned into a multiple time thing with the lines getting blurred.
Ava starts to develop feelings for the My Little Pony loving Tyler but thinks he is too immature and too crazy to have a relationship with, something Ava has never wanted to have. But when Tyler begins to develop those same feelings for Ava, the two of the have to so to speak shit or get off the pot. It becomes all or nothing for Ava and Tyler who determine that they want to be with each other.
The funny twists & turns in this book make it so much more special. You see Tyler's struggle to find his true self including if Dean O'Saur is his father, and if his My Little Pony obsession is too much for Ava to take. We see the same in Ava in this book. Can she find her way and let her mom know she doesn't want to be in the family sex toy business?
I adore Tara Sivec's writing. Love it. Adore it. She holds me from the first words in all her books. And even though there may be serious sides to this story she never had the humor stop and that is something I look forward to immensely in her books. She is such an amazing writing, being able to write the funny, serious, suspenseful and dramatic, anything that is put in front of her. I look forward to anything else that is coming from this author & if you are looking for a laugh with some love, check out this hilarious series now!
