Why? Why Molly McAdams must you make me cry every time you write a book? Granted they are fabulous books but still, ugh. Be still my heart.
I literally, literally just finished Deceiving Lies, book two in the series by Molly McAdams and can I just say it was brilliant. That woman can write.
Story picks up right were Sour Patch (you know I have to use Kash's nickname for Rachel) and Kash left off. This book takes a different tone than Forgiving Lies, to me at least it did. In Deceiving Lies, I feel like you see and feel the magnitude of Rachel and Kash's love for each other on a different level than you are able to in Forgiving Lies.
I do not at all want to give away ANYTHING in this book because man is It turbulent, but like everyone of Molly's beautiful stories, you feel all the raw emotions flowing through her characters. When one traumatic event throws Rach and Kash into a horrific tailspin you are left wondering when all the pieces fall into place, are you going TO be able to see around the chaos and pain to find the happily ever after.
Cryptic much, yes I know. I just don't have the words to describe this book without giving too much away. Know that Molly's writing is flawless, like every other book she's written. Know that Kash and Rachel hold you from page one until the end, and know that you will be smiling, laughing and be a sobbing blubbering mess before it's all DONE.
Oh lord, this woman can write and it is with Kash and Rachel still flowing thru my brain that I give this beautiful ending a full blown 5 stars! Love your writing dear Molly and I can't freaking wait to read some more!!! :)
