Review & Giveaway--- Come To Me Quietly by A.L. Jackson

From bestselling author A.L. Jackson comes a new series, a beautiful story, Come to Me Quietly!

Aleena Moore is content with her life. She has goals and dreams and an easy smile. She also has a secret she holds locked inside.

Jared Holt believes he doesn’t deserve to love or be loved. He destroys everything he touches. Haunted by the mistake that shattered his life, he’s fled from the memory of that pain.

Jared doesn’t know why he’s compelled to return, but finds himself drawn back to the place where it all began. The exact place where it ended. When he runs into his childhood best friend, Aleena’s older brother Christopher, he agrees to share Christopher and Aleena’s apartment while he looks for a place of his own.

Aleena is no longer the little girl Jared remembers from his past and evokes feelings in him he never wanted to feel again. Terrified of destroying her, he fights to keep her away. But her touch is something he can’t resist—the touch that sealed his fate.

Their pasts are intertwined and their futures uncertain. The only truths they know are the secrets they whisper in the night.

5 Star Review:

Another AMAZING story from A.L. Jackson. Come to Me Quietly was powerful and emotional. It took you on a journey of love, sadness, and hope. It made you believe that even broken, you can begin to be put back together.

Come to Me Quietly is the story of Aleena (Aly) & Jared, and a little bit of Christopher tossed in their too!

Jared & Christopher have been best friends their entire life, from diapers. Aly is Christoper's annoying baby sister who followed them everywhere they went. But Aly wasn't annoying to Jared. She was anything but. He was always looking out for her, taking care of her, and making sure she was safe.

For Aly, her love of Jared started back when she was little. She always knew he was her one true love. She followed Jared & Christopher because not only was Jared her brothers best friend but he was hers too, even though he was a few years older than her.

Tragedy strikes their lives, and all hope is lost for Jared. He blames himself for the events that took place! He becomes this broken boy that Aly & Christopher just can't get back. Jared disappears, literally & emotionally and that is the last Aly & Christopher see of him......

Until one fateful night.

Christopher finds Jared, alone & broken. He brings him home with him and then begins what I like to call the "Aly Treatment". Aly reminds Jared of who he is, and slowly & surely shows him her love that never went away.

Beautifully broken is the only way I can think to describe Jared. He doesn't have anyone in his life, he thinks, until he gets Aly & Christopher back. Aly is not the little girl he left but a woman. And a woman he wants to know.

Aly & Jared share a heart breaking, beautiful love story. They show that no matter the circumstances, love can be enough. Love can begin to heal all wounds. Love can fill the holes you have. Love can be real.

The story A.L. Jackson told was emotion, true, and REAL. Her writing holds you and captures and just doesn't want to let you go. I fell in love with Jared and Aly on the pages of Come to Me Quietly and I can't wait to continue on their journey in Come to Me Softly. I was already a major fan of A.L. Jackson, but this just solidified that fact for me! She always writes stories that capture your heart. Thank you A.L. Jackson for sharing Aly & Jared with us. It was amazing.

A.L. now spends her days writing in Southern Arizona where she lives with her husband and three children. Her favorite pastime is spending time with the ones she loves.
