{Review} VIP by M Robinson

Title: VIP
Author: M. Robinson
Genre: Erotica
Publication Date: December 4, 2013

Synopsis:

The beginning- A point in time or space where something starts.
32 year old Sebastian Vanwell, was a very successful yacht broker, who always loved the design and architecture of a luxurious yacht. His only addiction was being on the water. He loved it, he thrived on it, and he needed it in his life. After a very stable, loving child hood with a few bumps, Sebastian married the love of his life. The one person that he knew would always be there. Julia was his rock, and he loved her more than life itself. Sebastian kept his addiction to the water under control, wanting to keep his time with his wife and son his number one obsession, that was until he saw her. This new addiction haunted him, the one compulsion that he couldn’t control no matter how hard he tried.
Ysabelle Telle hit him hard, knocking the wind from his lungs. Coming from worlds apart, beautiful, dark complexion Ysabelle Telle didn’t have the rich, protected background that Sebastian Vanwell had. Ysabelle lived a life of hell, in poverty, growing up with a drug addict mother that never cared, and horrific living conditions. Ysabelle lived for one person and one person only; herself. She was pure perfection, her beauty along with a flawless body had men lined up, driveling over her insuring her success as a VIP.
There are too many words that describe the effects when two diverse worlds like theirs collide. They both have too much to lose to get caught in the forceful pull, which could destroy them both.
Publisher's Note: This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and drug use. Intended for mature audiences.

Review:

What can I not say about VIP? There were so many twists and turns in the book. What you thought was going to happen didn’t and what you expected to happen did but with a twist. Ysabelle was the product of a mother who was on drugs, a prostitute and in my eyes, a pimp. She lived through a lot of had to get out of that house so she did and found her way to Florida and met Devin who ultimately was her savior and best friend. But she also became a VIP (escort).

Sebastian on the other hand was the total opposite. He was a “rich” kid and he never needed nor wanted for anything. He was best friends with Julia and Olivia but had eyes for Olivia. The love that they shared was obvious to Julia but she was so in love with him, Olivia nor “Sebby” wanted to break her heart so they didn’t.  Everything about them was sweet. They were known as the Three Musketeers and they were inseparable. Once they grew up, things seemed to change and Sebby went his separate way so that he wouldn’t hurt anyone but the more things stayed the same, the more they changed. At the end, Julia nad Sebby ended up together.

Fate has a way of showing up and for Sebby and Ysa, it did. The first time they laid eyes on each other, they both knew each was the one. Being a VIP meant all time spent was paid for and that’s what he did. He paid for spending “time” with Ysa. The problem that I had was the cheating factor and not just cheating but going back in forth between his wife and child and Ysa. He had gotten so caught up with her that he couldn’t be the husband that he needed to be for his wife but he never stopped being the father. I didn’t like him leaving his child for a romp but this is what happens in these type situations.

I got lost in the book and enjoyed reading the struggles. I was rooting for the winning team or at least the team that I wanted to win. But the end was great. Sebby had a huge choice to make and M. Robinson did a fantastic job laying it all out.
