All the girls I’ve slept with over the years, they were all there trying to fill a void that Jessica planted in my soul. There are a million reasons why I should have let Jessica walk out of my life, a million rejections when I should have taken the hint, but I just didn’t care. I stayed and kept pushing because of how I felt when we were together.

 

Review: 

I am an avid read of MC books and to say The Fear that Divides Us didn't disappoint is an understatement.

Bobby is an MC at heart but he is also smart, funny, alpha and to some a bit of a nerd. He's keeps his heart to himself and would never give it to anyone but the first time he saw Jessica, he knew he had to have her. Jessica didn't take anything from anyone and she has grown since the first day he met her.  Being the alpha male that he is, he helped her through a difficult time and has protected her since.

When we first meet Jessica, I feel a bit off.  I think I'm going to like her bt then again, I think she's a little uppity and a little reserved but my mind changes when I find out the reason why she is like she is.  Jessica has lived a hard life and didn't have the support that she needed from her family.  She was a bit of a loner and had to depend on herself. She followed somewhat in her fathers footsteps and maybe not by choice in the beginning but it turned out that she was fabulous as a doctor.

The passion that each of them had toward each other was sizzling but both wanted to protect the one thing that meant more to them, their heart.  I loved the interaction that they had with each other but I loved the interaction between Bobby and Jessica's daughter more.  He was not afraid of her and talked to her and not at her. He didn't ignore her and in crazy situations, he talked to her and explained things.  He loved this little girl before he even knew it.  

This book gives you the drama, the fight, love and everything else in between. I can' wait to read more of the lifestyles of this MC!!
