REVIEW:

OK so how many oh ish' moments do I have while reading this book...ummmm...like 100. Then I thought I had it figured out and I thought I did but then another oh ish' moment. I got a lot of those while reading Statistic but why wouldn't I expect that with Author Dawn Robertson.

Ok so before I tell you what I thought, lets meet the characters. Aurora is single mom who still has ex husband issues that she clearly hasn't gotten over. She works for home and does her thing. She misses the "home" like with the husband, the married life, etc.  Well she decides now is her time to shine and be happy so she takes a leap and does it.  She takes her friends advice and join Fish in the Sea, a dating website.  I mean how bad could it be, right?

She meets some great guys who end up being a great set up friends but she also has her fair share of "children", but what would you expect???  Her journey on the site is different to her but also exhilarating and exciting. There are a lot of first for her so her guard is slowly but surely being dropped.

Aurora has met a lot of nice guys, Brent, Wesley, Jackson, Jeremy and countless others but Jackson caught her eye and made her heart beat!!  Jackson has his own business doing lawns and is looking for the one. He's smart, nice, strong and for all of the right reason, Aurora feels very safe with him.

Jackson intrigues me unlike Brent or Wesley ever have.  I think mainly because I have always dated the pretty boys like Wesley and Colin;  well manicured men who have no idea how to change the oil in a car, or fix a loose floorboard.   He isn't clean shaved, and his short brown hair isn't perfect in any of the pictures we have shared.  But man, his blue eyes are stunning.  He is just your average single guy, living an average life running his landscaping company and living country life.

WIth all of the daily life challenges and crazy thing happening lately, will she find the ONE? Is Jackson the second half that she deserves?

I must say, once I started reading this book, I couldn't put it down.  It was enticing, mysterious and a very good book to read. The characters are beautifully written and I totally get where Aurora was coming from. Her struggles in life are those of a lot of single mothers and everyone can relate in one way or another.  I recommend this to everyone!!

Author Bio:

Dawn Robertson is a two time best selling, twenty-something indie author, and mother. She lives in sunny senior citizen packed Florida, where she wrangles her flock of kids and writes smut.
Dawn can normally be found swearing like a sailor, making late night drive-thru appearances, arguing with her kids (or being run over by their power wheels), reading a steamy romance while hiding in her bathroom, writing her little heart out on her laptop (or dragging her Macbook to the Genius bar praying they can save her latest work in progress), shopping for My Little Pony goodies, being the life of the party at a book signing, or sipping on a smoothie. She loves to hear from her fans, readers, and authors alike. Feel free to drop her a message.
Dawn rarely takes life seriously, so be sure to expect heavy sarcasm from her. She is also the life of the party, so be sure to meet up with her at one of the many author events she will be attending in the next couple months. Buy her a shot of whiskey, and she will love you for life.
