Books that hold you and make you want more I feel like are hard to come by now a days. They either captivate you and make you wish their was more to their story or they don't.
The Closer series by A.L.Jackson is a series that captivated me. And I don't say that lightly... Jared stole my soul in Come to Me Quietly and he didn't give it back in Come to Me Softly. Jared is the dark, dangerous bad boy who has some tragedy in his past that makes him not want to stick around. He runs from everyone and anything.... until Aleena.
Aly is such a beautiful soul. She believes the best in people but mostly she believes the best in Jared. The ending of Come to Me Quietly leaves us with such a bomb that in Come to Me Softly, we are left wondering if Aly and Jared's love can stand the test of struggle. Christopher, Aly's overprotective brother and Jared's best friend is definitely one of them. For me in Come to Me Softly, the biggest struggle was Jared himself and whether he could ever be good enough for Aly and the life they created.
Come to Me Softly was a beautiful conclusion the the fabulous Come to Me Quietly. A.L. Jackson has such a flawless style of writing. She can create the perfect, broken story or relationship and turn it into something is so powerful and so beautiful that you crave more. She makes you believe in true love and happily ever afters. She makes you dream for a forever, especially in this case with Aly and her bad boy Jared.

I was relentlessly waiting for this story.. begging pleading and hoping for an early release and I have to say, no matter how long the wait, it did not disappoint. You want true love, look here. You want real and undaunting love, look here. You want a story to top all stories, look here.

I fell for Aly & Jared from the first beautiful page.. now I am sitting on pins and needles waiting for Christopher and his troubled LOVE!
4 stars for Come to Me Softly. Only reason I'm giving four stars is because as much I loved Jared in this book, I loved him more in Come to Me Quietly.
