This is the first time I have read or listened to anthing from Cristiane Serruya and I was intrigued with the story. From the Baroness's Diary, Volume 1, was a very unexpected and fun read. It was different from other books and I loved it. We get to dive into the life of Lady Chloé de La Fleur and her husband Baron Beardley.

Chloé was a young girl who was not living at home and married to an experienced Baron. She was young, inexperienced and quite frankly she was looking for love. She was dined and wooed by the Baron and was ecstatic when she was finally married to him. While becoming the lady of the house, there were many adventures that she had no idea about and dealing with his mother was becoming quite annoying.

Chloé's life was becoming somewhat of the unknown and her sexual experiences were unlike anything she assumed and also what was learned. The diaries she kept allowed us to see how her life unfolded and her mindset during this "grand" time!!

I really enjoyed the first book and loved Chloé's thought process, becoming a woman and also having a mind of her own. I can't wait for book 2!!

Chloe has finally come to her senses after years of letting Salvatore go. She spent years waiting and wanting him to come back to her but finally she was done. With the help of her friend, the real journey in her life begins. She has done things that one would be ashamed but Chole needed go with life and not let it pass her by.

Her adventures truly begin once she is in Italy looking for the one that she truly loves. Her heart is pulled in many directions from Salvatore, his brothers, the Baron and life. Chloe has her mind set and she is not leaving happiness to go back to dread.

Life has plans for Chloe but will she be ready to play or will she finally back down. There were some points that I clearly shouted ummm CHLOE...enough is enough...what's wrong with you!! At the same time I was happy for her and wanted her to just be happy. I enjoyed the journey that Chloe found herself on and her decisions. It worked best for not only her but her heart!
