Everyone knows that I am a huge fan of Aly Martinez because of her fabulous writing that pulls you in immediately. Well this is no exception!! I read the prologue and immediately reached out the her to let her know I am HOOKED!!

The Truth About Lies is a perfect beginning to a series that will leave you speechless. This story is about loss, family, revenge and hope. I instantly fell in love with Cora, the mom of everyone.

Cora is the mom of a bunch of people who see her as a savior, a sister, a protector and a friend. She doesn't ask for much and never expects anything in return. She care deeply and shows it in so many ways often I feel like she is taken for granted. She has no fear and when she does, you'll never know. The fight in her is so strong, nothing, not even her family, The Guerrero's can hold her back. She suffers a lot in their hands but she's on a mission not just for herself but for the girls that don't have a way out...until she met Penn.
