5 Star Review ~ Bang and Echo (Black Lotus Series bk. 1 and 2) by E.K. Blair

Bang (Black Lotus #1)
Written by: E.K. Blair
Genre: Psychosexual Thriller

Synopsis:

They say when you take revenge against another you lose a part of your innocence.
But I’m not innocent.
I haven’t been for a very long time.
My innocence was stolen from me. Taken was the life I was supposed to have. The soul I was born with. The ruby heart embedded in a life full of hopes and dreams.

Gone.
Vanished.

I never even had a choice.
I mourn that life. Mourn the what-ifs.
Until now.
I’m ready to take back what was always meant to be mine.

But every plan has a fatal flaw. Sometimes it’s the heart.

**Due to the dark and explicit nature of this book, it is recommended for mature audiences only as some scenes may be particularly disturbing.**

Review:

I am completely speechless and I don't know what to say.  Well what I can say is Bang was written very well. I'm angry for Nina...so angry and I want the revenge for her.

She was treated in the worse way possible and he poor body was put through everything imaginable.  She lost the one thing that made her happy and then got thrown to the wolves. She was violated in every way possible but as she grew, she would have her chance to bring some of what was given to her.

Revenge is sweet and I screamed a lot! WTF was going on and why!!! EK Blair did a great job on this!!!

ECHO (Black Lotus #2)
Written by: E.K. Blair
Genre: Psychosexual Thriller

Synopsis:

It's been said the longest echo ever measured lasted 75 seconds, but I can assure you, this will last much longer. The bang deafened the world around me, muting everything into nullity, allowing the reflection of its destruction to live far beyond its intended life.

It will follow me forever, destroying me—destroying you.

You want answers?
So do I.

Review:

This series is.... I'm lost for words. So I though Bang blew me away and maybe it did just a little more but Echo.....

I don't want to tell...but what I can say is you must read the follow up to Bang.  You will need some chocolate, alcohol, a bell for something else and complete silence because when you start reading, you will not be able to put this down.

The what happened next was the top thing on my mind.  I will not give this story away but this is so worth the read and I can't wait to dive into Hush.
