I was so leary to read continue reading Fighting Chance because I was so confused but I started over and I am so glad I did. This book was something different and I truly enjoyed Trent and Cassandra. Both were alpha in their own way and didn't take crap from anyone.
Cassandra had Trent after he saw her the first time. There was an instant attraction but it was something different with them. The lust was there but the feeling of protection was overwhelming for Trent and he knew when Cassandra needed him.
During the many attempts on the lives of each of them, Trent proved that he was lethal and would do and go through anyone to get to Cassandra. I loved this story and the quirky but funny parts. You could actually see yourself in this story, which is a plus!! I can't wait to read the next book in this series!!
