Synopsis:
Welcome to Wynne, population 3,401.

No billionaires. No professional athletes. No celebrities.

In this small town, current events are pondered in mirrors at the local salon or around crowded tables at the diner, and there’s a new couple to gossip about. A rough and tumble woman who works in her dad’s garage, not yet ready to spread her wings, shows the new guy in town what it’s like to finally have roots.

It’s your run-of-the-mill, sexy, Astro van driving dentist meets smart-ass, bass fishing tomboy in a story of real-life romance.

Low on drama. High on love.

Pull up a chair and stay a while.

Review:

This was the first book I've had the chance to read by author M. Mabie. I've heard such amazing things about her books and writing that I had to give it a shot and it so so did not disappoint. Roots & Wings was a light hearted snd witty read. It didn't hold too much angst at all, just happy wity and cute banter.

I absolutely adored our lead heroine Mutt. She was strong, loyal and so honest to a fault it made you love her even more. When delish Vaughn comes to town and their first meeting is unexpected, neither Vaughn nor Mutt can stop thinking about each other. I LOVE that Vaughn refused to call her Mutt like everyone else in town. He showed her so much respect but that one simple act. I really enjoyed both of their personalities so much.

Its a sweet southern story with just the right amount of conflict, just a little. This book was so light hearted. I fell completely in love in just the first few chapters.

M. Mabie showed what a creative writer she is. She showed no matter the genre, she can write it. I've heard her other books hold a decent amount of angst. I can't wait to read something else from an author who have me something I loved so much. She created a book I didn't even know was missing from a list of favorites.

Love me some Vaughn & Mutt.
