Michelle A. Valentine has done it once again. Xavier Cold is the sequel to her highly popular Phenomenal X. This story picks up right where book one left off.
Xavier is a notorious bad boy who just can't seem to stay on the right side of the law. He's trying to so hard because he finally has someone to fight for in Anna Cortez. Anna is everything X has ever wanted.
But nothing is ever as easy as it seems. X and Anna have one hell of a fight ahead of them. It seems everything is always working against them. I loved Xavier so much in this book. He was just as tough and rough as he was in the last book. His love & passion for Anna showed so much. I loved his loyalty to her and his protectiveness over her. It showed that she was the one good thing in his life and he wasn't doing anything to let that go, his demons be damned.
Anna was strong too. You didn't see a weak bone in her. She showed X she was willing to protect herself and everything they created even if he wasn't. I loved her so much in this book.
Michelle A. Valentine wrote this book so well. Didn't hurt that this book was written to mimic my absolute boyfriend Roman Reigns. X was just as fierce and just as yummy. I picked up this book and I couldn't put it down. It was that good. Such a great conclusion to such a great story!
