Michelle Leighton is an phenomenal writer who has captivated
us yet again with Katie and Rogan’s story!! To say this series is a five star
read is an understatement!!
Rogan is a MMA fighter who has taken on a new role and
become an actor. He is hot, strong, and
goes after what he wants. He is so used
to girls throwing themselves at him it is shocking that Katie doesn’t do
that. He is intrigued by her and not the
things that she does but just her! Rogan’s
life is not roses and lollipops! He has a brother who is a prick! I think his
issues stem from the unknown and not truly knowing a lot of things. I feel he
thinks her is somewhat responsible for a lot of things that have happen and
Rogan is also carrying that on his shoulders.
Katie is the sunshine needed to brighten Rogan’s day. She is strong willed but she also has shadows
that she is running from and he can’t figure out why. She is a mystery that he has to solve and he
will go about it in ways that she can only imagine to get what he wants.
Katie and Rogan helped each other through so hard things and
once Katie opened her heart their relationship took a turn that only helped
them grow. The skeletons slowly crept
out of the closet and when things took a turn for the worse, Rogan was ultimately
Katie’s hero!!
I was so excited for the events in this book and happy for
the ending!! I can’t wait for the next book in the great story!!
