“Good choice.”
Bryna startled. She hadn’t realized anyone had walked up to her while she was salivating over the earrings.
She faced the stranger, and her heart stuttered. Oh, yes. So much yes.
“Well, I have impeccable taste,” she drawled.
He smiled. “I can see that.”
He was perfect. Older than even Jude or maybe the same age. Mid to late thirties and utterly delectable. High cheekbones, full lips, chiseled strong jaw, and gleaming light-brown eyes. What she noticed next was just as important—an indulgent custom suit that fit him like a second skin. With that kind of cut and quality, it had to be something straight out of London’s Savile Row. A fine suit had all the same necessary characteristics as a diamond, and both should be worn as often as possible.
She shifted her Louis Vuitton bag to her other arm and faced him head-on. “It appears I’m not the only one with good taste.” She wet her lips.

She completely agreed. “You think so?” she asked, playing coy.

“And what exactly are you shopping for?” She was mesmerized by his cool exterior.
Their conversation was intense, and they had barely shared more than two-dozen words. He had a commanding presence with such little effort.
The man leaned in slightly. “Just browsing.”
He looked her directly in the eyes, and she got the impression he considered her to be merchandise.
If the Harry Winston diamonds around her neck were any indication, she could be bought.

K.A. Linde has shown us the perfect friends to lovers romance. Gold stole the show. I loved Diamonds. Bryna was Queen Bee not just in the book but took Queen Angst from one of my reigning K.A. Linde ladies!
Gold is the story of gold digger and spoiled brat Bryna Turner. Gold picks up almost right after Diamonds ends with Bryna going through college after the heartbreak she never expected. Her heart and soul are now closed off from everyone and everything.
Jude broke her, Hugh might fix her.. Or so Bryna hopes until love seems to find her in the most random and unlikely place for her.
Eric rocked my world. He was an ass from the very start but man he pegged Bryna from the beginning. He didn't handle her shit, didn't put up with it and called her out whenever he could. He saw the real her and wasn't afraid to call out the fake Queen Bee.
This story was different from the first because you were able to see Bryna grow from spoiled little girl to knows her worth woman. It was by far such an amazing book.
K.A. Linde had the words flowing off the pages of Gold. I fell for Eric our hero easily as I read this story. I loved Gates, I fell for Hugh, and then I feigned for Eric.
This book was fab. I hated Bryna at the end of book one.. But by the end if Gold I loved and adored her. Eric captured my heart just like Linde's other leading males. Can't wait for more from this digging series.
