In the searing fourth novel in the Mastered Series, following Unraveled, only one woman can set a hardened fighter free from his past.…

In order to survive a life of tragedy, Deacon McConnell embraced his roughest edges and learned to fight on the streets. Then a life-changing jujitsu seminar led by Sensei Ronin Black led Deacon to become a professional fighter. With his muscular physique and his body covered in tattoos and scars, the MMA fighter defines mean, both on and off the mat.

But everything changes when innocent Molly Calloway signs up for his kickboxing class. Molly is Deacon’s opposite in every way: She’s kind, sweet, thoughtful, and educated. After a heated argument between them turns into a passionate encounter, Deacon realizes Molly is eager to experience more, and she looks to him to take her to the darker edge of lust....

The last thing either of them expects is how deeply their lives will be thrown upside down by the passion they find together.

Review:

I absolutely loved this story and could not put this book down!! This is the first book that i have read in the Mastered Series and recommend it to everyone. I will definitely read the other books in the series to get to know the characters better.

Deacon and Molly's story has so many twists and funny one liners, happy times, bad times and drag out..knock out...fight times.  Deacon was truly alpha in every way imaginable. He took what is wanted but not in that sense...he fought and earned everything that he wanted and that was Molly.

Molly was somewhat of a loner.  Her life was hard and unfair. She was loved and hated and it was a bad situation for her as a child.  Once she was able to grow and leave, she found herself but she was still missing something that she truly deserved and needed...true love and happiness.

This story was very intriguing and had me on my toes.  I loved so much at Molly and Deacon.  Whipped is an understatement for Deacon.  He had issues that closed him off from everyone but he slowly opened up to Molly. She brought something out in him that most could not do.  The attraction between them was scorching.

“We’re gonna happen. I’ve wanted you for too damn long. I see you—I fucking smell you—and I can’t get you out of my head. I’ve tried staying away from you—for your good and mine. But now that I’ve tasted that sweet mouth? No more denying this.”

It just took one kiss...one touch...one smell...one look and they were each others life line.  I must say the trivial things that they went through made them both better.  Deacon was very protective and loyal to Molly and vice versa.  They could both rely on each other and that made the story so much better.

Lorelei James did a phenomenal job on this story and I am excited for the next book and to start from the top and read the books in the series!!
